A recursive algorithm for the part of the system observable by PMUs is applied, in which multiple sets of synchrophasors are processed. The obtained state estimate is then used together with SCADA measurements in an iterative procedure to estimate the state of the entire power system. The developed methodology was tested on IEEE test systems with 30 and 57 buses as well as on the model of the Croatian transmission system.
