Advanced 3D Perception for Mobile Robot Manipulators

The goal of the project is to contribute to the development of a practically applicable perception system for intelligent mobile robots which would allow them to recognize objects of interest in their environment as well as to navigate in this environment in order to execute various object manipulation tasks. Furthermore, we want to develop a human-robot interface which would allow a user to define robot manipulation tasks in a simple and intuitive manner. The project is funded by a Croatian Science Foundation grant and starts at the beginning of 2016.
